Profile Information

Where do you live now?
Chicago, Il
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Whats going on everybody? It's good to be here. Well first off...my heart will always belong to Mission Texas. That said, I now reside in Chicago Il. and I love it. Except for the really cold winters. Anyway, I'm still a sports fanatic...Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and of course the Texas Longhorns. HOOK 'EM!!! I love traveling around the U.S. and I especially love the outdoors. Camping, rafting, hiking, you name it. Nowadays you'll catch me listening to Jay-Z, Pearl Jam, DMB, Tool, Led Zep, Incubus, The Beatles, and of course George Strait. I drive a 2005 army green, Ford Explorer Sport Track, Guiness is my favorite beer, and I still love a good cartoon every once and a while. On June 16th of this year I got married to my girlfreind of 3 years. We got married in a small church in Las Vegas, with 32 freinds and family present. It was simple and it kicked ass!!! I try to get to Mission about once a year...usually over the summer when I'm off of work, and I still talk, and hang out with my boys Issac Valadez, Mike Saenz, Toby Garza, and Sammy Rodriguez on a regular basis. Oh, and I do not have any kids...but I have a really cool cat named Donatello, and for the record he's named after the ninja turtle, not the artist.
What do you do?
As for me...I live in Chicago and I am working with behevior disorder teens at Gateway High School, while also finishing up my degree in Special Education. I also for the last eight years have been teaching Outdoor Education, which intails teaching things like canoeing, rock climbing, and backpacking, while working on things such as team building, and outdoor survival skills. I love what I do, and I have been lucky enough to do alot of traveling over the years because of the adventures my work has taken me on. It's been a real blessing.
What year did you graduate?
1992

We lost a really great person today.

Hello everyone. I hate the fact that my first blog on this website has to come under these very unfortunate circumstances, but I thought that there might be some of you who would have wanted to know. Some of you may remember Roosevelt Martin who graduated with me in 1992...he was probobly one of the funniest, nicest, most genuine individuals you will ever meet, he was a great guy. Today I got a call from Mission with the very unfortunate news of his passing. Roosevelt was in an accident while on… Continue

How much the Cowboys are loved...

John Elway, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Broncos flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, John," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." John felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and Blue sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Cowboys logo flag, a Cowboys logo in every window, and a Tony Romo jersey on the front door. John looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I won 2 Super Bowls, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point John?"

"Well, why does Tony Romo get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said "John, that's not Tony's house, it's mine."

I watched the Cowboy/Bear game and Chicagoans are tuff...they even turn on their own team. Booing Grossman! What's the deal with that?!!! just kidding.

Always the Cowboys...good or not so good!
