About Me:: Married for almost 12 years. I have 3 handsome sons, Darren John (8), Chase Vincent (6) and Chad Gabriel (4).

What do you do?: I became a dental assistant right out of high school and then trained to be a surgical assistant for oral surgeons. I did that for 13 years. Once I started having kids, I needed a career that was a lot more flexible than surgery all day, so I went to work at a company that concentrates on environmental issues. Right now we are in the process of building an ethanol plant in Nebraska. My full time job though is of course as a mom. My boys keep me going constantly. Between school, cattle, and baseball there really isn't much time to do anything else. I help coach my son's teams and this year I will be team mom for my youngest's team. We also raise cattle for breeding and for show. My oldest son will be participating in the stock show next year. My husband and I love spending time with the kids, but we like to get away occasionally too. We just returned from a week vacation in Hawaii.
