How is your family after Hurricane Dolly?

Hey everybody. I just want to let everybody know that we did OK during Hurricane Dolly. There was no damage to the house. There were some fallen branches and a couple trees in the neighborhood. We were lucky that the nasty part of the storm veered off to the North of Edinburg. It took FM 490 West instead of US 83. We spent most of the storm without power. Even now, I'm at Jitterz posting. Thankfully, nothing eventful happened during this storm.

Comment by David Cruz on August 15, 2008 at 12:26am: We did well at home the power was out for about 15 hours, and no damage to my home. I (and my crew) were the lucky ones who had to work 72 hr. straight. It sucked!!! We were on emergency power for 48 hrs and 8 guys in the smallest station in McAllen is not fun.
I can say it was fun driving out in the storm, walking was intresting too. I should have took some pictures, but was having to much fun.......
Can't wait for the next one!!! No really!!!
